We just got word that a new colorway of the adidas Yeezy 500 is set to drop this Fall season. Dubbed the adidas Yeezy 500 Ultraviolet, this new colorway of the ‘Ye model opts for a tonal finish on the upper as a shade of Dark Purple takes care of the suede, mesh, laces and lining. The same hue is expected to take care of the midsole, while a gum outsole finishes off the look. The Nike Air Safari SE gets a bit of a makeover by way of the University Red noted on the overlays. Out now, let’s get a closer look. This new iteration of the Nike Air Safari SE is dipped in a University Red, Black, Monarch, and Cobblestone color scheme. The upper consists of a Tan leather toe cap with Black suede on the mid-section, safari print around the ankle collar and Red overlays on the toe and heel overlays. Black, White and University Red hits land on the sole of the shoe.
Today we’re getting a look at two upcoming colorways in the Nike Air Safari LE, which by the way, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Both versions opt for mesh on the toe box, and utilize black along the middle portion of the upper, as well as the classic Safari print throughout. One of the first colorways to arrive on the brand new Nike KD 12 is this special “90’s Kid” edition. The model originally received an April release date, but it’s scheduled to drop in May instead. We’ve seen the Nike Air Max Shake Evolve – Black / Black – Dark Grey – Varsity Red on several occasions, and today we’re seeing new images of the shoe. In case you didn’t know, the silhouette is an updated version of Dennis Rodman’s Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT, utilizing a Nike Air Max unit at the heel.
Kanye West first previewed the adidas Yeezy 451 Prototype in April, which is a new style that will be added to the adidas Yeezy footwear line by next year. Kanye took to social media again to reveal another sneak peek of the silhouette, but only highlighting its outsole and says, “Steven Smith’s (sneaker designer) been reworking the bottom unit on the 451. I’m super excited about where he got it.” The design features a mesh upper, highlighted by a unique sole that wraps the shoe together all over, with another key detail is a suede lacing panels with rope-style laces.

adidas and Kanye may be releasing a brand new silhouette later this year as new pictures have surfaced of what’s currently being known as the adidas Yeezy 451. First surfacing back in the Summer of 2018, the new adidas Yeezy silhouette was designed by Steven Smith, who also designed the Reebok Insta Pump Fury and Nike Zoom Streak Spectrum Plus. The shoe looks extremely different to anything we’ve seen from Ye and adidas before as a very aggressive midsole serves as the highlight of the sneaker. Additional details include a mesh upper and a unique lacing system.
The Nike Tanjun will debut in a Midnight Navy/Game Royal combination as well as a clean Wolf Grey/White colorway. Both pairs will be constructed out of a mesh upper that comes in a diamond grid pattern. The Nike Swoosh on the side panes will come in white to create a nice contrast on the Tanjun. When it comes to the midsole, it looks almost identical to the Roshe Run offering, with the only difference comes in the form of a wave that hits the mid-section of the midsole. Another difference is that the Nike Tanjun has a more structured and visible eyestay and vamp.

The Nike Free RN Flyknit 3.0 is covered in Midnight Navy for its latest rendition, and it’s dropping at retailers tomorrow. Sporting the bold hue across its sock-like, laceless profile, the shoe is composed of lightweight stretchy Flyknit upper that is contrasted with pops of volt and pink located across the heels. Mismatching Swoosh logos in volt and blue are also seen on the rear and toe box. Finally, the model’s molded midfoot strap and navy Nike Free sole completes the design.
The performance running sector has been a huge growth sector for the major brands. Nike is embracing this movement with a another addition to the Nike Free Run line, with the Nike Free Run 2 “City Pack”. The pack pays tribute to the world’s most prominent cities, New York City, London, Tokyo, Shanghai and Rio de Janeiro, each sporting its own unique colorway that reflects the respective city. The essence of the Free Run is basically a street runner, an attribute that is presented through speckled soles symbolic of the concrete. Look for the collection to hit select retailers in the near future.
The Nike Free Xilla saw plenty of action this year, and we can expect the trend to continue next year. Seen here are images of an upcoming design, which blends grey, black, and orange hues. In 1992 Nike decided to retro Air Max 1 2003 for the first time, but Nike changed the design up a bit. The midsole and outsole were taken from the Air Max 3 (now called the Nike Air Max 90). All the retro models of the AM 1 released from 1992 were leather, but in 1995 Nike released nylon retro’s, then another change in 1996. Nike had made the famous swoosh logo on the side smaller.
The Nike Air Max 1 2003 was the first in its line, and was released in 1987. It featured Air cushioning that was visible at the heel, which made the shoe very popular. The upper was made of nylon mesh and synthetic suede. It wasn’t until 1988 that the leather version was released.
The Nike Air Max 90, first released in 1990, was not known as the Air Max 90 when it was first produced. It was known then as the Air Max III. The Air Max 90 served as a great performance running shoe that featured a midsole whose stability had been unseen before. The shoe was light-weight and breathable, both very important aspects of a running shoe. Made of a mesh upper, it also featured a large Air Max unit in the heel. Even today, many consumers of the shoe prefer the mesh upper as opposed to the all leather versions. The Nike Air Max 90 has been retroed many times. Although black and white versions are released most frequently, special editions such as infrareds are what draw people to the stores.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Hospital Blue” is another new colorway appearing on the silhouette and it’s arriving in September. Flaunting a monochromatic color scheme with grey mesh and suede uppers, the chunky model is complemented with subtle blueish hues scattered throughout. Finishing details consist of 3M reflective accents on the three curved stripes across its side panels, its distinct molded thick full-length Boost cushioning and black rubber outsole to round it off.

Composed of soft mesh and suede overlays, the mesh portion dons a cream-like hue, while the suede paneling are treated in a sand-like finish. The all-beige theme is continued towards the thick/molded adiPrene midsole, while the style is topped off with a gum rubber outsole for a solid mix altogether.
