Sneakers and outer space have always had an interesting connection. From Nike’s wildly successful “Galaxy” pack in 2012 to Tom Sachs’s bricolage-inspired Mars Yard and Mars Yard 2.0s, the wonders of the universe have always managed to translate well to footwear. The latest shoe to adopt a space-inspired aesthetic is this recently-unveiled “NASA” Vans Old Skool, featuring the agency’s recognizable branding on the lateral side of the white leather upper. The astronaut uniform-inspired look doesn’t stop there though, as the shoe also features a “shuttle” tag on the grey tongue, a removable flag patch on the heel similar to what you’d see on a flight suit, a ridged midsole, vectran padding around the heel collar.
Virgil Abloh’s OFF WHITE imprint is currently busy with a rumored 10 pair Nike/Jordan Brand collaboration including the likes of a deconstructed Air Jordan 1, the Nike VaporMax, the Nike Air Max 90, and the pairs of the Nike Air Force 1 and Nike Blazer. If that wasn’t enough to hint at the fact that the fashion imprint wasn’t limiting their scope, then this upcoming Vans Old Skool shows that there’s no slowing down OFF WHITE’s popularity in 2018. The OFF WHITE Vans Old Skool features the signature “Everything in Quotes” seen throughout the Nike collaboration with “Blank Canvas” written on the white canvas upper and a contrasting vulcanized black midsole and outsole featuring the brand’s arrow logo.
Reinterpreting the checkerboard print seems to be Vans’ trend of the moment with this forthcoming Slip-On mixing their iconic print with that of their logo itself. While Engineered Garments did up the convenient silhouette in a fashion almost 3D, this contrasts greatly as its design is arguably heaps more sparing. The Anaheim imprint’s type branding emblazons in perpetuity across the entire canvas constructions with the black and white colorways opting for vastly different colored fillings. Choosing muted greens with purples and then dark tints with bright reds, respectively, both offer up vastly different alternatives with the luxe Vault LX upgrade being the most standout connecting factor.

Back in January Nike released a Golf version of their iconic Air Max 1 in a colorway that mimicked grass all throughout the upper. That was then followed up by a Denim pair back in June. So what’s next? You know the Swoosh likes to spice things up so today we show you an official look at the upcoming Realtree Camo pair.
Covered in a realtree camo all throughput the upper that combines shades of brown and black, this Air Max 1 Golf is then hit with black leather detailing on the Swoosh logos and the mudguard. Orange Nike Golf branding on the tongue and heels, a white midsole with an orange Air Max unit on the heel, and a golf-ready jagged rubber outsole in a translucent orange with a black Swoosh cap things off.
After releasing in the OG University Red colorway last month, the Black and White color options of the Nike Air Max 1 Sketch To Shelf now have official release dates.
Legendary designer Tinker Hatfield pioneered the design for many notable Nike silhouettes, but one shoe in particular forever changed the game, the Air Max 1. The shoe that introduced visible Air to the world had to start somewhere, and ‘Sketch to Shelf’ takes inspiration from the shoe’s original design process. Arriving with a black upper and white detailing, this iteration dives into Tinker’s design notes throughout the entire upper. The heel features Tinker Hatfield’s signature and a “SAMPLE, PROPERTY OF NIKE NOT FOR RESALE” text graphic is noted on the inner lining.
Yesterday the WNBA’s Maya Moore hit the hardwood in this “Camo” Air Jordan 28 SE PE. The upper of this 28 SE PE features a nice multi-grey camo with a grey mesh tongue and grey laces. Hits of white rest on the midsole, heel tab, and on part of the tongue’s lace holder. Adding the flare to this 28 SE PE is the teal that occupies the outsole and “MM” on the tongue.
Today the first lady of Jordan Brand, Miss Maya Moore, took to Twitter to share her “Red Velvet” Air Jordan 28 SE PE. As you can see this 28 SE features a rich red Hyperfuse upper, a red outsole, and red lining. Giving this sneaker a great amount of contrast is the bright white you see resting on the tongue, laces, and speckled midsole. Providing the character of this sneaker is Maya Moore’s “MM” logo on the tongue.
Jordan posted on their Facebook earlier that their players will be rocking these Air Jordan 28 SE Oscar PEs in honor of tonight’s award show. Both Air Jordan 28 SE Oscar PEs feature gold finishes throughout and a blue icy sole complete with matching gold speckles. Either a black or white rendition will be distributed to the home and away teams. Let us know what you think of the new PEs in the comment section below!
Another snakeskin iteration of the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage is on the way. This time around the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Vintage comes dressed in a Vast Grey/Red Bronze-Sail color scheme consisting of a Grey leather upper with suede overlays on the midfoot and toe regions. Contrast is made by way of the Bronze faux snakeskin noted on the Swoosh logos and heel tabs. White laces and a Sail rubber sole round out the main features of the shoe.
It’s a necessity to have a few classic and timeless silhouettes in your collection and if you don’t have at least one pair of Blazers in there then you may need to reconsider. On deck we bring you a new colorway of the Nike Blazer Mid which takes on an appealing and versatile look as the shoe takes on its traditional suede look all over the upper with this pair being covered in a rich shade of black. Contrasting Sail is then placed on the jumbo Swooshes as well as on the laces, tongue tag, heel branding, and the rubber sole unit.
Peep this new colorway of the Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage. This time around the Swoosh adorns the model in a clean snakeskin motif.
The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage Snakeskin starts off with a White leather upper paired up with Grey suede overlays found on both sides of the toe. The aforementioned snakeskin print is placed on the Swoosh logos and heel tab to help give the shoe a bit of a luxe look and feel. Nike Air on the tongue, White laces and an off-White rubber sole round out the main trait of the shoe.
With the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 getting the Protro treatment in 2019, it looks like we now know what Nike Kobe silhouette is next in line to do the same. The Nike Zoom Kobe 5 will be next to get modern look and feel with one of the first colorways to release being the Chaos pair.
Inspired by Joker, the original Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Chaos released on December 26th 2009 a day after Kobe Bryant debuted the shoe on Christmas Day. Ten years later the shoe will be getting the retro treatment but in Protro form and is expected to look pretty much identical to the original with its white and Chameleon-inspired upper along with red speckling on the midsole and volt detailing on the branding and outsole.
Following the release of the UNDEFEATED x Nike Kobe 4 Protro collection that represented members of Team Kobe; DeMar DeRozan, Devin Booker, Kyle Kuzma and Giannis Antetokounmpo — the sneaker is now dropping in a “Black Mamba” edition to honor Kobe Bryant. Covered in black with an iridescent sheen to reflect the scales of a snake, the shoe is contrasted with white accents throughout and a white midsole. Finishing touches include UNDFTD logos and the numbers ‘8’ and ’24’ on the heels to reference Kobe Bryant’s jersey numbers.
It was only a matter of time until someone took the recently released adidas Yeezy 350 Cleat and made it wearable off the football field.
Dank Customs is the first to take the most coveted football cleat under the knife as he gave the shoe a sole swap. As you can see in the images above, Dank Customs placed an Ultra Boost sole on the Yeezy 350 Cleat that gives the shoe whole new look, and feel.
You know how the cycle of Yeezys is usually blurry leak, months and months of speculation, countless blog posts that reveal nothing, official reveal, more blog posts, then it finally drops? Well, adidas decided to do away with all of that for the adidas Yeezy 350 Cleats. It was revealed last week and it’s dropping tomorrow. Surprise!
But since we couldn’t completely break from tradition, we don’t know yet (besides adidas.com most likely) who will be stocking the cleats and for what price they will go for (rumors point to a $250 price tag). We’ll update this page as news breaks so stay tuned. But for now, here’s a few blog posts about the Yeezy cleats because why not read about things you’ll probably never wear unless you’re an actual football player, right?
It seems that early assumptions on the release date of the Air Max Tailwind 92 Retro were wrong, they are not dropping Spring 2009, they are actually starting to hit stores now. Proper in Long Beach California just sent out a notice that the sneaker is now available in their store. This highly anticipated retro of the Tailwind is being made available for the first time since its was originally release in 92. The lead colorway is the classic white, crimson and tour yellow and a white, purple, and orange colorway is also expected soon.
A bunch of new Nike Air Max Tailwind 92s popped up on retail shelves early in 2009. We expected a large year for this retro runner but haven’t seen much of it past the early spring. A new colourway pictured above is a sample whose colour name is a perfect description of the look of the shoe. A ‘Scuba’ shade of blue is joined by a brighter blue on the toe plus a variety of white fabrics for a light and springy look.
