2019 has definitely been a successful comeback year for the Nike Shox family thanks to a slew of releases of classic silhouettes and colorways. And the Shox R4 – one of the lineup’s earliest models from the year 2000 – looks to add to its already impressive catalog with the release of this brand new three-toned rendition. For its next act, the Sportswear silhouette opts for one of the Swoosh’s classic color combinations. Textured uppers are outfitted in a matted white hue, and contrasted with black perforated leather overlays and doses of glossy red accents adorning the Swoosh logos, and midsole plate, and four-pronged Shox cushioning system similar to the OG black/silver colorway.

Appropriately titled the “Skeleton”, this impending rendition pulls similar design cues from the white colorway that released last year, but switches up its foundation for an evening-styled black leather, allowing the spooky and skeletal foot-bone graphics to shine through as if pulled straight from the x-ray machine. Furthermore, the footbeds of these ghostly AF1s come packaged the same anatomical graphics, in addition to the outsoles featuring glow-in-the-dark capabilities that can certainly spruce up your costume look come the night of the 31st.

Back in March we gave you a look at two upcoming colorways of the Nike Air Pippen 6. One featured red and black, an obvious colorway that was inspired by the Chicago Bulls, and the other came with a white base and black and purple accents. We were left wondering what was the significance or inspiration behind the second colorway.
Well now we know that it’s an homage to Scottie Pippen’s alma mater, the University of Central Arkansas. This Air Pippen 6 features a white leather upper with iridescent Court Purple on the iridescent patent leather mudguard, outsole, flywire and Swoosh branding.
What to do when your main man leaves the court…Scottie Pippen couldn’t be Jordan’s sidekick forever and fortunately he had enough skill of his own to hold it down for the 1994 NBA All-Star Game, in which he was awarded the MVP. But even better than that, he was awarded his own signature sneaker.
Just like his bright red pair of the Nike Air Maestro, the Nike Air Pippen 6 “Raging Bull” will be taking cues and serving up something fairly similar (but better). This rendition of the Nike Air Pippen 6 favors an all red aesthetic with hardwood-print along the upper. Black is added into the inner lining, midsole and Nike branding to keep to the Chicago Bull’s aesthetic.

There was the Nike Air Foamposite One Knicks that released in 2014, and the NY theme is coming back on the Nike Air Foamposite Pro for 2019 this time.
