Love wearing Air Maxes but can’t wear them during the Fall/Winter cause they’re not weatherproof? Well that all changes now as Nike has created new Winter Utility iterations of some of your favorite Air Maxes, including the Air Max 97 that we see above.
This colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 Winter Utility comes covered in shades of grey which has been constructed out of a one-piece waterproofed upper. For color we see the addition of neon green wrapping all around the upper as well as on the branding on the side panels and on the Air Max unit on the midsole.
The newly introduced Nike Air Max 200 is unveiled in a new “Red/White” colorway, as the silhouette that is defined by a new side-vis Air unit that offers 200% more Air compared to the traditional side-vis Air unit, in addition to boasting a full-length cushlon foam for underfoot cushioning. Composed of mesh and suede with synthetics, the runner is also detailed with an eye-catching wavy pattern. Finally, a white midsole and icy translucent outsole solidifies the style.
London-based Facebook group “The Basement” has teamed up with the Swoosh for another colorway of the classic Nike Air Max 90. Nicknamed “Manchester,” this pair captures Manchester’s fearlessness, as the model is composed of two densities of hard-wearing and water-resistant Cordura. Other details consist of plastic eyelets and suede mudguard, while the highlight is directed at the removable Swoosh logos in four different color options. Completing the look is a black midsole and “Real People Do Real Things” printed on the icy translucent outsole.
With Halloween being right around the corner, Vans has announced their latest collab, the The Nightmare Before Christmas x Vans Collection.
Shown above, the The Nightmare Before Christmas x Vans Collection will include special iterations of the Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Old Skool, and Slip-On.
Each model from the collection comes dressed in several characters from the movie with personal detailing and texts spotted throughout. Details include the subtle Easter Bunny print hidden inside the sockliner of the Authentic, whereas the Slip-On features a plastic piece of Jack Skellington’s bowtie.
Very few things go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly, especially when it comes to sneakers. One of those very few things is Vans sneakers and checkerboard print. If you’ve ever owned a pair of Vans there’s a good chance that one of your pairs probably had some checkerboard print on it. The Puma Fenty Suede Cleated Creeper is Rihanna’s latest sneaker for the sportswear brand and it’s now in stores. Sporting a similar style as her original Fenty silhouette, this version is highlighted by an extra thick, cleated-style rubber sole. Coming in two colorways, the featured pair is in golden brown and features a premium suede upper with leather detailing throughout to complete the design altogether.
Rihanna’s Puma Fenty Suede Cleated Creeper is dropping soon and it’s featured in its all-black colorway. Sporting a similar style as her original Fenty silhouette, this version is highlighted by an extra thick, cleated-style rubber sole. Premium suede covers the upper with leather detailing throughout to complete the sleek design altogether.
Puma and Rihanna gave the ladies not one, but two different colorways of the all-new Fenty Bow Sneaker. Utilizing the same satin construction throughout the entire upper as the Olive Branch colorway that we just showed you, this new sneaker from Ri-Ri and Puma seems to take design inspiration from the Puma R698.
A pop of color and exotic materials combine together on this new colorway of the Nike Air Max 90 that will be releasing later this week.
Dubbed the “New Species” colorway, this Nike Air Max 90 starts off by being covered in Pure Platinum (grey) all throughout the upper in premium materials that include suede, nubuck, and a textured scale print that adds a layer of depth and luxury to the shoe. Bio Beige is then seen on the upper eyelets as well as on the inner liner along with Electric Green on the Swooshes and the semi-translucent midsole unit.
More fall-appropriate iterations of the Nike Air Max 90 continue to surface as the popular runner is now revealed in an exotic makeover. Sporting hues of brown and olive green to suit the season, the model’s upper takes on a faux animal fur pattern, while olive crocodile leather is utilized for the mudguard and ankle collar to highlight its theme. Finally, red for the inner lining and interior of its translucent rubber sole completes the design.
Following a “Grey Fog” iteration, London-based Facebook group “The Basement” is teaming up with the Swoosh for another colorway of the classic Nike Air Max 90. Colored in a darker Grey finish with a bold orange tongue for contrast, the runner is composed of mixed materials such as suede, leather, textile and plastic eyelets. The highlight is directed at the removable Swoosh logos and branded heel area that reveals a netted pattern in white, while the matching grey midsole bears text that reads “Real People Do Real Things” printed on the translucent outsole to round out the style.
If you like to rock bold colors during the Spring season and are looking for something that not everyone will have, you should take a look at the Nike Vortak in the Lagoon Pulse colorway.
This bright and bold iteration of the model comes dressed in a Lagoon Pulse, Volt Glow and Black color scheme. If you’re not too familiar with this model, it comes with a upper with a sock-like design utilizing a lacing system that connects to the top of the midsole. Other features on the shoe include the mesh upper, pull tabs on the tongue and heel, a Swoosh on the toe and a pretty thick sole. The colorway of the shoe consists of a Bright Blue mesh upper contrasted by the Neon, Purple and Peach accents. The Black his attempt to tone things down a bit and does so quite nicely.
The popular “South Beach” colorway that first graced the Nike LeBron 8 is utilized once again, this time on the Nike Air VaporMax 3. Sporting an official mix of “Hyper Turquoise/Pink Blast-Black,” the sneaker’s flyknit construction is colored in teal with black accents, while the South Beach vibe is evident with pink laces, branding on the heel, tongue label and insoles. Finally, subtle gold hits on the tongue, a blacked-out VaporMax sole and teal outsole round out the design.
Summer is over but the Nike Air VaporMax Plus is introduced in a new vibrant “Neon Red” colorway for its latest variation this season. Composed of molded neoprene across its upper, the synthetic wavy lacing cage overlay is colored in pink for additional vibrance. More pink flows throughout the midsole, while hits of navy are applied for the laces, branded areas and portion of the outsole. Finally, a lightly tinted pink VaporMax sole tops off the design.
Summer is just about over, but that won’t stop Nike from releasing bright colorways of one of their most popular sneakers, the Nike Air VaporMax Plus. Seen above, this new rendition of the hybrid VaporMax gets doused in a vibrant Sunshine Yellow all throughout the neoprene construction on the upper which has then been overlayed with white plastic paneling and more white detailing on the heel and midsole. Black accents on the branding and tongue and heel tabs, and a translucent VaporMax sole unit down below with smoke grey detailing wrap things up on this Nike Air VaporMax Plus that will be releasing soon for $190.
Fall is only weeks away, and the Air Jordan 32 Low Wheat will be one of the silhouette’s latest iterations ready for the colder months. Featuring a mixture of Golden Harvest, Metallic Gold, and Sail, the theme gives the basketball sneaker a more lifestyle makeup. Made of flyknit across its upper, a darker brown hue is seen on the suede heel which also displays its signature Wings logo. Finally, a sail midsole, metallic gold Jumpman branding, and a milky translucent outsole tops it all off.
Before we say goodbye to the Air Jordan 32 and welcome in the Air Jordan 33, Jordan Brand still plans on releasing a couple of more colorways. The next pair dropping at the top of September is this Wheat colorway.
This Air Jordan 32 Low takes on somewhat of a lifestyle appeal as the shoe comes constructed out of the usual Flyknit material on the upper, but also comes with suede detailing on the entire ankle/heel area. The Flyknit upper has been done in light Golden Harvest while the suede ankle/heel also takes on a darker wheat look. Additional details include wheat laces, the Jordan Wings logo on the tongue and heel, a white midsole with a gold Jumpman logo, and a milky white translucent outsole.
The Nike Kyrie 5 Team Bank is a new variation of Kyrie Irving’s silhouette that continues Nike Basketball’s TB (Team Bank) range, and it’s arriving in six colorways. Featured in “Red/White,” “Navy/White,” “Grey/White,” “Blue/White,” “White/Black,” and “Black/White” — each version features the two-tone theme across with contrasting lace shrouds, Swoosh branding, speckled midsoles and matching outsoles to complete the look.
The highly-anticipated Nike Kyrie 5 “SpongeBob SquarePants” and its accompanying collection will make its debut this weekend. Reflective of the lovable character SpongeBob, the model features a porous bright-yellow mesh upper with a red and gum brown rubber sole to mimic SpongeBob’s signature outfit. Finishing details include Nike embroidering on the heel, Nickelodeon branding on the tongue, a portrait of SpongeBob on the insoles and more of the character’s marking behind the tongue.
The arrival of the special Nike Kyrie x SpongeBob SquarePants collection is finally here and this “Patrick Star” edition in particular is offered in full family sizing. SpongeBob’s best friend, Patrick Star is reflected on the silhouette with the character’s signature pink skin and lime green rubber sole to reflect Patrick’s tonal shorts. Finishing details include the character’s smiling portrait on the insoles, branding behind the tongue and Nickelodeon’s marking on the lace shroud.
Jordan Brand is releasing a new colorway of the Air Jordan 16 for the Fall of 2017 that serves as a nod to Michael Jordan being the CEO and first majority owner of an NBA franchise, the Charlotte Hornets.
The Air Jordan 16 CEO/Boardroom features a Black suede on the upper with subtle purple accents and iridescent patent leather placed on the toe and tongue. It won’t be easy to get your hands on a pair either as the inside of the tongue signifies that this shoe is limited to only 2,300 pairs. Finishing things off is a translucent outsole.
Michael Jordan’s greatness is celebrated with this Air Jordan 16 CEO edition, as he’s the first league superstar to become a team owner. Being the CEO and majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets, the sneaker is colored in the team’s signature colors with a black-based upper that is accented with iridescent details in teal and purple hues. The shoe is limited to 2,300 individually numbered pairs and completed with a translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 16 originally released more than 15 years ago (March 2001). This November, the shoe makes its return coming in the OG Midnight Navy colorway. The last time we saw any kind of version of the shoe was back in 2008 when the Black Air Jordan 16 released as a part of the CDP where it got paired up with the Air Jordan 7. Fun fact about the shoe, it was also the first Air Jordan since the Air Jordan 3 that was not designed by Tinker Hatfield.
Jordan Brand is rumored to be releasing a suede iteration of the Air Jordan 11 Low Spring of 2020. Although no images of the sneaker have leaked, we do know that the Jordan 11 Low will come dressed in a White/University Red-Black-True Red color scheme. In regards to the suede, the rendering shown here shows that the suede is placed on the Black mudguard but all of that is speculation for now. For all we know the mudguard could be done in leather, while the rest of the shoe can be done in suede. Stay tuned as more info begins to surface.
The Air Jordan 11 Bred 2019 is one of the most popular colorways ever to be produced on the iconic silhouette, and the sneaker’s OG styling is going to be returning for the holiday 2019 season. First worn by Michael Jordan during the 1996 NBA Playoffs, the sneaker helped him earn another championship and NBA Finals MVP. Images of the 2019 edition have not surfaced yet but the sneaker sports a mixture of Black, White, and Varsity Red.
A special Air Jordan 11 has surfaced and it’s a custom design made just for head football coach Dan Mullen of the Florida Gators. Reminiscent of the recent AJ 11 Low “Blue Snakeskin,” this variation of the iconic silhouette dons a white mesh upper and custom blue gator print covering the patent leather mudguard. Other details include the Florida Gators logo on the tongue labels, “DM” on the heels, alongside the Jumpman logo which are colored in orange to reflect the Gators team colors. Finally, a white midsole and icy translucent outsole rounds out the look.
